Collector questions

Buying art online: prices, protected payment, delivery, withdrawal and certificates.

How do I buy an original artwork online on Artworks Digital?

Choose a work marked “available”, click “Buy” or add it to your cart, then give your name, email and delivery address. When online payment is open, you pay by card on Stripe’s secure page and come back to the Collectors site with the confirmation. No account is required.

Who sets the prices?

Each artist sets their own price, shown in euros including taxes. A work without a displayed price is not for sale. The platform commission is deducted from the artist’s payout, at no extra cost to the buyer.

Is my payment protected?

Yes. Stripe collects the amount on the platform’s payment account and it is released to the artist only after you confirm receipt. If the work is not delivered, arrives damaged or does not match, you are refunded. Artworks Digital never sees your card number.

How does delivery work?

The artist ships the work to your address, at their cost and responsibility, and uploads proof of shipment. On receipt, you confirm from your order page with a photo of the work.

Can I withdraw after buying?

When the artist sells professionally, you have 14 days from receipt to withdraw under French consumer law. Full terms are in the terms of sale.

Can I ask the artist a question before buying?

Yes. Every artwork page has “Write to the artist”: your message goes directly to them — framing, packing, provenance or dimensions.

How do I find a work for my home or budget?

Filter the catalogue by medium, style, size, place, artist and budget, or describe what you want to ARIA, our adviser: she only suggests works actually for sale, at the artist’s price.

Do works come with a certificate?

A certificate, signature or limited edition is never assumed: only what the artist states on the page, or confirms in writing, applies. Ask before ordering.

Can I see the works before buying?

The Artworks Digital 3D museum lets you walk through the artists’ rooms online, and each artist has a gallery on www.artworksdigital.fr. Purchases happen here, on the Collectors site.
